Handmade Jewellery

We create a selection of handmade statement jewellery much of it is with larger beads, some of it with recycled, restrung and reloved beads, semi precious stones and other special finds.  We only create one of each piece as we like them to be as unique as you are.  Sometimes the beads create ideas of how the look should be, such as the chunky Sixties beads had to be reworked into something with a nod to the past but fabulous for everyday & not just styled for a photoshoot.

"Costume jewellery isn't made to provoke desire, just astonishment at most. It must remain an ornament and an amusement.” – Gabrielle Chanel.

Swinging Sixties

I found some fantastic sixties beads and old broken jewellery pieces from that era.  I was sooo excited to create a range of Sixties inspired pieces - with some actual Sixties beads!!!

Fabulous Fifties

And then I found some 50's broken and battered necklaces that I cleaned up, reworked and restrung into some super cute pieces.

Future Heirlooms

These pieces were  created with broken gems such as vintage brooches with broken clasps or repurposing a vintage earring that has lost it's other half.  Taking junk and making gems!

Big Bead Statement Pieces

Big and sometimes huge beads, we like to mix these up a lot.  It's usually an eclectic mix of all shapes and sizes, materials, finishes..

Vintage and Faux Pearls

Chanel, famously said: “A woman should have ropes and ropes of pearls.”—believing that they should not be hidden away but worn and enjoyed.

Well occasionally we have ropes of faux pearls, restrung vintage faux pearls and sometimes we make our own strings of mismatched and all shapes and sizes of vintage faux pearl finish beads.

Not exactly what Coco was referring to .. but just as much fun!!

Vintage Beads Restrung

I can't lie, I'm still completely obsessed with aurora borealis glass crystal beads, so pretty and when they catch the light... pure magic!
